Why “Cadence”?
At Cadence Collective, the name reflects the heart of my therapeutic approach: creating a steady, attuned pace for healing from trauma. True recovery doesn’t follow a straight line — it requires safety, presence, and deep connection. Cadence represents the rhythm we find together as we gently rebuild nervous system regulation, relational trust, and internal stability.
When are your office hours?
I see clients Monday through Thursday in Centennial, CO 80122 and anywhere in Colorado virtually. See the Contact page to reach out or schedule your initial consultation.
What is your therapeutic approach?
I integrate EMDR, sensorimotor psychotherapy, ego states therapy (parts work), psychoeducation and principles from interpersonal neurobiology to support clients in healing not just cognitively, but in the body and the brain. Our work together centers on helping you restore a felt sense of safety, reconnect with yourself and others, and move forward with greater agency, resilience and ease.
I have taken professional training in Advanced EMDR, Ego States, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Emotion Focused Therapy (Level 1), and in Understanding Complex Trauma. I am amidst trainings in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1&2), and CASE Adoption Competency. See the About page for more.
What can I expect for a first session?
I understand the mix of courage and nerves that can buzz through your body when approaching your first therapy session. Our first session will heavily focus on acclimating to the space, each other, and what the next steps might look. I enjoy engaging experientially from the start, this may look like a guided visualization, a creative activity or learning a nervous system soothing skill. I leave time to ensure understanding of the therapy agreements you sign in the initial paperwork.
What is your rate?
My standard rate is $140 for a 50-minute session, and $200 for an 80-minute session. I deeply understand the importance of flexibility and affordability, so I do offer a select number of reduced rate sessions based on a sliding scale. If you are interested in applying for the reduced fee, I am happy to send you the form with the initial paperwork prior to your first session.
Do you accept insurance?
I accept Cigna, Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Select Health Colorado, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health. Your coverage depends on your plan. You may call your insurance company to verify, or we can check before our first session using the Headway platform.
